The floor of the Super Center PLANT Kurobe store was constructed with "Seal Hard Premium." It features a combination of good appearance, high durability, and low maintenance.
The supercenter PLANT Kurobe store (Toyama Prefecture), which opened in October 2020, has been constructed using Seal Hard Premium. Since Seal Hard has been adopted for store floors by PLANT for over 20 years due to its lower construction and maintenance costs compared to P tiles, recent stores have shifted to long sheet vinyl and P tiles for reasons such as lack of color and cleanliness. The reason Seal Hard was adopted again for the Kurobe store is due to advancements in polished concrete technology, which allows for the creation of clean-looking floors. This project was undertaken by our construction department as the main contractor, with a focus on concrete quality from the very beginning. During the pouring process, we used "Moacrite: fluidizing without adding water" and "E-CON: pouring aid" to reduce trowel marks and cracks, aiming for a uniform appearance. At the finishing stage, we performed "SSP-100: joint filling" to prevent debris accumulation and corner chipping in the joints. The PLANT Kurobe store boasts one of the highest levels of concrete flooring in commercial facilities in Japan.
